1. Open PerplexityBot access in robots.txt and the firewall
   Add this group to https://yourdomain.com/robots.txt:

   User-agent: PerplexityBot
   Allow: /

   Allow the ranges in https://www.perplexity.com/perplexitybot.json in any
   WAF rule, and match on both the user-agent string and the IP address.
   Perplexity-User (user-triggered visits) generally ignores robots.txt.
   Its IP ranges: https://www.perplexity.com/perplexity-user.json

2. Write passages that answer one question each
   One question per heading. First one or two sentences = the complete
   answer, with the name, number or date in it.

3. Refresh key pages and show the update date
   Re-check facts, prices and versions. Show a visible "Updated" date and
   match it in the page's dateModified.

4. Earn mentions on pages Perplexity already cites
   a. Run your buyer questions in Perplexity.
   b. List the domains it cites for each one.
   c. Contribute to or correct those pages where you have something to add.

5. Measure citations and referral visits
   Log cited URLs for a fixed prompt set every month.
   GA4: Reports > Acquisition > Traffic acquisition

        filter: Session source contains "perplexity"
